The team at Magus Electronics took part in a fundraiser which took place on the 27th March to support the work of the Brain Tumour Research Charity.

The event consisted of a raffle and staff taking part in the national wear a hat day event.

The local community have been extremely supportive in making this event a success, along with many businesses who have kindly donated some fantastic prizes!

Our General Manager Kirsty Wilkinson-Shaw explains why the charity was chosen “We have a close family member who has been diagnosed and we want to do all we can to support her, we were keen to raise awareness for this charity and help support any families who are affected. “

We have raised a grand total of £500 across both events, which will have a significant impact in the charity’s ability to further research into finding a cure for brain tumours.

Despite the current situation with Covid-19, the team adapted to remote working by taking pictures wearing their hats at home and participating in fun hat related activities.

We would like to thank all who have donated and taken part in the event, we are extremely proud of what we’ve achieved in the circumstances and everyone’s generosity has been greatly appreciated.
