This year, we signed our HR Manager Kirsty up to the HR Leaders group as part of the Manufacturing Alliance.

The group of HR professionals get together every two months to confidentially share personal experiences within their manufacturing companies and network to promote continuous improvement for both themselves and their businesses. 

The meetings aims are to challenge the leaders to new ideas and ways of working.

Each member has an opportunity to host at their manufacturing facility, this often includes a factory tour and insight into how the business operates.

The members all come from different manufacturing backgrounds, so far the meetings have been from manufacturers in industries such as:

• Bakery
• Bathroom aids
• Wheel washing equipment
• Roofing specialists

Kirsty was pleased to host her first meeting with the team back in August, where the group enjoyed a tour of the manufacturing division at Magus, where they learnt the process of completing PCB and product Assembly and met the team that make it happen.
