The team at Magus put on a Socially distanced Greek themed buffet during September, for a much deserved mid week treat.
The theme was especially chosen to honour the work and memory of our much loved former employee Stath Kyrantonis, who sadly passed away in May this year. A wonderful man who contributed significantly to our manufacturing and engineering division and always brought a smile to our faces with his humour and optimism.
The weather held out well for us to enjoy a range of Greek dishes and nibbles outdoors, which included pita breads, feta cheeses, hummus dips, tzatziki and a traditional Greek salad. Our Caterer Daniel Wilkinson-Shaw also provided a delicious portokalopita (orange cake) to complete the event.
Greek themed music, traditional flags and themed colours brightened the kitchen area to set the scene for our celebration. During such a difficult and challenging year for many people it was a great way to boost spirits and pay a fitting tribute for Stath’s time with the company.
